Admission Criteria

Vivekanand Industrial Training Centre

To be eligible for admission at Vivekanand Industrial Training Centre, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • AGE LIMIT: The age limit for admission is between 15 years and 40 years. However, SCs/STs are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
  • APPLICATION PROCESS Interested candidates should submit the application form in the prescribed format to the Principal of the Institute. The form should be duly filled and accompanied by attested copies of the required educational and supporting documents. The admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the application should reach the institute 15 days before the commencement of the session.
  • SESSION AND EXAM: The next session or training batch for the Electrician and Fitter trades will commence in the first week of August. The final exams, conducted as per the norms of NCVT, are held in the month of July.
  • ELIGIBILITY: Admission is likely to be given to eligible candidates without any test or interview, even with just a passing mark of 33% from a recognized board.
  • REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: At the time of admission, each candidate must submit two sets of attested copies of the following documents: 10th pass marks sheets and certificate from a recognized State Board of Education/CBSE/ICSE/NIOS, character certificates, medical certificate, and six recent passport-size photographs. Candidates who have passed 8th grade may also apply for admission to the Welder trade.
  • WORKING DAYS: The institute operates six days a week from Monday to Saturday.
  • TUITION FEES: Once the tuition fees/charges are paid for admission, they will not be refunded or returned in case of discontinuation of training.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Vivekanand Industrial Training Centre

To be eligible for admission at Vivekanand Industrial Training Centre, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Fees can be paid in cash or through a bank draft made payable to Vivekanand Industrial Training Centre, Allahabad.
  • The payment should be made by the 7th of every month. Failure to do so will result in a fine of Rs 10/- per day until the last working day of that month.
  • If the fee remains unpaid for 30 days, the trainee will be expelled from the Institute. However, they will have the opportunity to seek readmission by paying all charges as a new admission.
  • Trainees have the flexibility to deposit fees and charges on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, or in three equal installments in advance during the training period.
