AIDS AWARENESS CAMP

Despite increasing risks, intensive health education campaigns, and widespread scientific and media attention, many people in India are still unaware of AIDS. Education plays a vital role in increasing awareness and understanding of this critical health issue. It is through education that we can empower individuals with knowledge and promote a greater understanding of AIDS. With this objective in mind, the State AIDS Control Society organizes an annual AIDS Awareness Camp at the Vivekanand Industrial Training Institute.
The AIDS Awareness Camp aims to educate and raise awareness among the students about AIDS. Through informative sessions, interactive workshops, and engaging activities, the camp provides valuable knowledge and insights about AIDS prevention, transmission, and the importance of safe practices. The Annual Sports Meet is a highly anticipated event where trainees compete in a range of sports and events. From cricket to volleyball, badminton to shot-put, discus throw to javelin throw, and various sprint races, there are numerous games for our students to showcase their abilities. The Sports Meet attracts enthusiastic participation from our trainees, who eagerly take part in these competitions during the designated Sports period.
In the month of March each year, the vibrant atmosphere of our campus comes alive as we host the Annual Sports Meet. On the last day of the event, prizes and certificates are awarded to the winners by our esteemed chief guest. This celebration of sportsmanship and achievement serves as a testament to the dedication and hard work put in by our trainees throughout the year.
